Principle of work twister devices Barkhotkin

The author offers a way of the decision of a problem of increase of productivity of the ring machine - keeping energetically favorable classical scheme of the twister-reeling up device, but to change character of friction between traveler and a ring.
Feature new twister devices (the Patent of the Russian Federation № 2202013) is that at the decision of a problem of increase of productivity of the ring machine force of friction between traveler and a ring does not decrease. To reduce this force of friction without change of parameters of a cylinder of a string it is impossible. In the new device friction sliding traveler about a ring is replaced with friction of roll.
Condition of increase of speed of rotation of spindles is reduction of speed of deterioration at friction. This problem is solved at transition from a sliding friction to friction of roll. Friction of roll is caused basically by volumetric deformation of a material of contacting surfaces in a normal direction (cave-in) and has elastic character. At friction of roll small carry particle surfaces is minimal. Therefore at identical speeds of relative movement and normal pressure speed of deterioration at friction of roll on two orders is less, than at friction sliding, and volume of deterioration at roll on the order above. Hence, it is possible to increase sharply frequency of rotation of spindles and productivity of all machines.
The new twister device has been developed for realization of this idea for ring spinning and twister machines on which the Patent of the Russian Federation № 2202013 is received. Essentially the scheme new twister devices for the ring spinning machine is presented on fig.1. The device works as follows.
Traveler in new twister the device has kind of a tor the form and it is placed inside of the demountable ring chamber from the worker tor by a surface. And, that also it is essentially important, in an operating conditions of rotation of a spindle the contact traveler and the ring chamber is carried out in one point - a point of roll since the radius of curvature of section of an external surface traveler is less than radius of section of a working surface of the ring chamber. The string in the bottom part of a cylinder gets in a working longitudinal crack of the chamber, passes through traveler and leaves the chamber for winding on coil. At rotation of a spindle the string carries away behind itself traveler, and force of inertia presses it and forces to slide on the vertical concave working surface of the ring chamber. Friction of roll traveler about a working surface of the ring chamber creates a condition of existence of a cylinder and a condition of winding of a string on coil. The Sliding friction traveler about other walls of the ring chamber in operating conditions is excluded. For refueling a string at its breakage the ring chamber has a special through refueling crack, and also some special extras (on fig.1 are not shown).
The resulted device uses the classical scheme of the twister-reeling up device of the ring machine and, hence, possesses its all advantages. New character and conditions of friction create unique opportunities of increase of productivity ring spinning and twister machines.
Movement of traveler on the ring chamber with one point of contact up to a minimum reduces speed of deterioration traveler and the ring chamber, raises durability of the device and allows the ring machine to work on extremely high speeds. Tests by domestic ring spinning machines have shown an opportunity of its steady and reliable work at frequency of rotation of spindles 20 ÷ 25 thousand rev/min, and, that is especially important, not reducing the existing sizes coil, both on diameter of winding, and on its height. In this case linear speed movement traveler reached 65 m/s.
In addition, the new twister-reeling up device carries out a new way of formation of a single complex yarn by the ring spinning machine.
